How long does a stamped pour take?
Three to six working days. The pour itself is a morning, but stamping happens in a window of about two hours while the concrete is plastic, so the crew size and the sequence matter more than for a broom slab. Release agent is washed the next day, the surface is sealed at 3 to 7 days, and furniture goes back after the sealer cures.
Patterns, colors and what they do in the sun
Ashlar slate, random flagstone, wood plank and cobble patterns all stamp well here. Color is the decision that matters: a charcoal or dark slate pool deck can run far hotter than a light sand tone in July because the surface absorbs more of the sun's energy, and the temperature study will put local numbers on it. Can hairline cracks in stamped concrete be repaired?
