What's different about driveways in Palmer Ranch
Pavers are the most common Palmer Ranch driveway application because they read as the upgrade the community's newer villages (Esplanade, Sandhill Preserve, Isles of Sarasota) came with. Sub-associations keep approved blends; tan and gray fields with a charcoal or brown soldier course pass, dark fields and busy patterns don't. Under the pavers: a 6-inch base compacted in lifts on graded fill, herringbone field, a concrete edge at the street line, sprinkler heads moved off the surface.
Palmer Ranch lots are on well water in many villages; a sealed field keeps the iron on the surface.

Do both associations really have to approve a driveway color?
In most Palmer Ranch villages, yes: the sub-association's committee reviews against its list and the master's form asks for that approval letter. Submit both at once with the same sample chip.
